The new treatment concept by Asclepion
THE GENTLE, CUTTING-EDGE, HORMONE-FREE LASER TREATMENT FOR VULVOVAGINAL DISCOMFORTS
HORMONE FREE & NON SURGICAL
Juliet is a minimally invasive, gentle and hormone-free laser treatment by Asclepion Laser Technologies GmbH for all women with gyneacological discomfort who do not wish invasive and/or hormone based options.
The fast, painless and minimally invasive
Menopausal women often experience a variety of symptoms, including vaginal dryness, itching, pain during intercourse, reduced libido and elasticity as well as vaginal tension. This condition is also described as vaginal atrophy.
Stress urinary incontinence
The term Stress Urinary Incontinence (SUI) refers to the unwanted release of urine during coughing, sneezing or physical exertion. The main cause of this condition is related to the reduced stability of the connective tissues.
Pain during intercourse
Pain during intercourse, also often called dyspareunia, describes a painful experience during intercourse due to physical changes during the menopause, such as onset of vulvovaginal atrophy or other psychological factors.
Loss of elasticity and tone
A quite common condition, usually associated with vaginal child birth as well as with natural ageing, is the so called loss of elasticity and tone, also described as "Descensus Vaginae" or Vaginal Relaxation Syndrome (VRS).
Vaginal dryness, burning and itching
Vaginal dryness, burning and itching can have many different reasons. It can be caused by hormonal changes like the menopause or after giving birth; it often goes hand in hand with symptoms of loss of elasticity and tone.
Genitourinary syndrome of menopause
The medical term Genitourinary Syndrome of Menopause, often shortened with (GSM), is referred to a complex group of symptoms which are essentially caused by hormone deficiency. A common evolution often following menopause.

What experts say
DR. MED. ANKE MOTHES
“The vaginal laser application in gynecology can be used to treat atrophy symptoms and mild incontinence. It is a non-hormonal, non-surgical, minimally invasive, and therefore painless and no time-consuming alternative or supplement to previous standard procedures in pelvic floor medicine. The Dermablate® with the Juliet handpiece has the potential to emerge as a new concept for gynecologists to improve the quality of life of their patients”.
DR. MED. CHRISTIAN RATZ
“The minimally invasive vaginal laser therapy is safe, effective and the effects are long-lasting. In the future, the laser will play an increasingly important role in mild stress incontinence and urogenital syndrome of the menopause and will be a useful addition or even replacement for standard procedures such as hormone replacement therapy, pelvic floor exercises or surgery, which are usually disliked by great part of patients.”
DR. MED. MAXIMILIAN FRANZ
“We have been using Juliet for over 3 years. The feedback is very positive. Vaginal atrophy and slight stress incontinence is treated with the complete satisfaction in the majority of patients. Juliet represents a great possibility to treat the complaints of menopausal urogenital syndrome (GSM) in the medium/long term. Patients with breast carcinoma or gynaecological tumours are happy to choose a hormone-free treatment option for GSM”.
DR. MED. EVGENII LESHUNOV
“Juliet is a perfect instrument in my daily practice because I can use it to treat different kind of pathologies like vaginal atrophy, SUI and vaginal laxity. It is a new concept for gynecologists, urologists and urogynecologists and it will help us to bring our clinical results to a new level, allowing us to treat patients with contraindications for surgery and hormone replacement therapy in a non-surgical, non-hormonal, and minimally invasive way.”
